Dr. Andrea O'Keeffe

A 1983 graduate of the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University, Dr. Andrea O’Keeffe has been an associate veterinarian at Sachem Animal Hospital since 1998. Previous to her 4 years at Cornell, Dr. O’Keeffe attended the New York Institute of Technology where she received her B.S. Degree in Medical Technology in 1977.

Dr. O’Keeffe is active in the community and participates in many local organizations. She is a P.T.A. member and a class parent at Paumanok Elementary School. She participates in “Career Day” at Half Hollow Hills High Schools and “Women in Math and Science Career Day” through the American Association of University Women. Dr. O’Keeffe is also involved in St. Matthew’s Roman Catholic Church activities.

Married with 2 sons and a dog named Dixie, Dr. O’Keeffe enjoys spending her free time skiing, reading and hiking with her family.
