Caitlin Schmid
Caitlin has always found joy working with animals. She started with volunteering at animal shelters, fostering dogs through rescue groups, and working as a kennel assistant. She graduated from Suffolk County Community College's veterinary technician program, and earned her Associate's Degree in Applied Science. She is currently attending Stony Brook University working towards her Bachelor's in Biology.
Caitlin loves to work with all patients at Sachem Animal Hospital, but particularly likes working with fearful patients, helping make their visit stress-free and an enjoyable experience. She is very interested in specializing in animal behavior and achieving a VTS-Behavior in the future.
In her spare time, Caitlin likes to train and go hiking with her dog, Nala. She also enjoys trying new restaurants with friends as well as working out.
