With over 20 years of experience in veterinary medicine, Scott has dedicated his career to delivering exceptional care to animals and mentoring veterinary professionals. His journey began in general practice, working in kennels, which led to becoming a veterinary assistant and ultimately pursuing technician school to advance his career.
As Lead Veterinary Technician at Sachem Animal Hospital, Scott brings a wealth of expertise in advanced anesthesia, therapeutic techniques, and patient care. His diverse experience spans emergency and specialty medicine, including leadership roles at Bond Vet, West Hills Animal Hospital, and VCA Veterinary and Referral Center of Westbury, where he specialized in surgery, neurology, and staff development.
Outside of work, Scott and his wife love traveling to Las Vegas for conferences and leisure. He also has a passion for cooking, enjoys the outdoors—including fishing, hunting, and camping—and he am an avid gardener. Scott and his wife share their home with four beloved cats (Mara Jade, Luke, Arthur, and Bartleby) and two wonderful dogs (Lucy and Walter).
In addition to his clinical work, Scott is deeply committed to animal welfare. As the former Executive Director of Cove Animal Rescue, he implemented protocols that improved medical care and adoption processes, reflecting his dedication to enhancing the lives of animals.
